Kanpa International Sales is a major processor and exporter of Frozen Seafood, Fish Meal, Fish Maws, Shark Fins and Animal Bone products. Kanpa International Sales, a partnership firm was founded by two brothers namely Mr. Pyarali Kanji and Mr. Abdul Rehman Kanji in 1974. The company has an annual turnover of more than US$ 17.0 million. The newly erected most modernize seafood processing plant is the key feature of this company. It is worth mentioning that the machinery for this processing plant has been imported from Grasso International Netherlands and the insulated panels have imported from Isocab - Belgium. The state of the art Microbiology Lab is yet another key feature where regular test carried out to monitor high hygiene during the various stages of processing. The new plant will be helpful in entering new markets in different part of the world with new value added items. Kanpa maintains high hygiene while handling of fresh and processed fishery products at all stages of receiving, processing, packing, storage and shipment. The raw material received is by far one the finest, cleanest seafood available because of high inspection criteria which is followed at receiving points. The company was approved by Marine Fisheries Department, which is the governing body for the seafood industry, for EU Commission export in 1999. The company follows the HACCP standards for their day to day sanitation needs. The company is also undergoing for ISO 9002 certification.
